Organizations using Seismic consider migrating when reps struggle to find approved content, the library takes substantial admin work to maintain, or the platform is delivering less value than its cost. The completed Seismic–Highspot merger gives customers another reason to review their roadmap and renewal terms. It does not mean Seismic has stopped supporting its products; Seismic says it will continue investing in them.
Spekit® works with teams moving from legacy enablement platforms, including Seismic. Its Content Services team leads migrations that can go live in four to six weeks for prepared organizations. The move brings a governed content library, AI-assisted content creation, learning, and buyer-facing Deal Rooms into the tools reps already use. Teams can begin planning before their Seismic contract ends, and Spekit works with switching customers on transition timing and economics. The first step is to decide which content and workflows matter most.
What is Spekit?
Spekit is an AI-first revenue enablement platform with a governed content library at its core. The Spekit Content Hub helps teams create, sync, organize, and maintain approved GTM knowledge. That same knowledge powers Learning Paths, AI Sidekick, and Deal Rooms: personalized digital sales rooms for sharing content with buyers and tracking engagement. AI Content Builder creates tailored, on-brand materials from approved knowledge and deal context. Spekit MCP can also ground connected AI assistants and agents in approved information. Teams get content management and Enablement in the Flow of Work® from one platform.
How is a Seismic-to-Spekit migration structured?
Spekit's migration kit describes four overlapping phases across roughly four to six weeks:
A four-phase migration plan
Spekit Content Services leads the agreed migration work while your team supplies access, priorities, reviews, and approvals.
- Phase 1Week 1Audit + ConnectReview the library and usage, map your structure, and connect priority systems.
- Phase 2Weeks 2–3Migrate + CreateSync approved assets, rebuild essential guidance, and draft content gaps for review.
- Phase 3Weeks 3–4Curate + ReviewValidate playbooks and Learning Paths with content owners, managers, and champions.
- Phase 4Weeks 4–6Roll OutDeploy to rep groups, train managers, check buyer links, and monitor activation.
Illustrative schedule for prepared teams. Scope, approvals, integrations, and contract timing determine the actual cutover.
The illustration’s week ranges follow the migration kit.
- Audit and connect (week 1). Spekit reviews your content, usage, and organization to identify what to migrate, update, retire, or create. The teams agree on day-one priorities and connect the systems in scope.
- Migrate and create (weeks 2–3). Content Services syncs or moves approved source material, sets up the Spekit content structure, and creates or converts priority guidance. The team also designs Spekit workflows for the document creation and buyer engagement tasks in scope.
- Curate and review (weeks 3–4). Spekit organizes content into playbooks and Learning Paths. Content owners, managers, and sales champions review what reps need at launch.
- Roll out (weeks 4–6). The teams prepare communications and training, deploy access, test live selling tasks, and monitor activation.
Four to six weeks is a planning range. A Seismic deployment with extensive document automation, learning requirements, or active buyer rooms may need a different schedule. Set the cutover date after the new workflows have been tested with real users.
Does everything in Seismic need to move?
No. Spekit starts with a content and usage audit to identify what to keep, transform, or retire. Focus first on the approved assets and answers sellers use in active deals, required learning, and buyer experiences that must remain available. Duplicates, outdated claims, and unused material do not need to be carried into the new library.
Files that live in Google Drive, SharePoint, or Confluence can be synced from supported sources. Frequently reused answers can become governed Speks that appear in Topics, Learning Paths, Deal Rooms, and rep guidance. Content stored only in Seismic needs a migration path confirmed during scoping. The goal is a working day-one experience, not a copy of every Seismic folder and tag.
How much work will our team need to do?
Less than many teams expect. Spekit Content Services leads the migration work agreed in the implementation plan: auditing the library, designing the content structure, moving and converting content, and building the initial playbooks. Spekit can use your website and sales materials to set up an initial branded hub; repository sync and AI Content Builder then reduce manual uploading and help fill gaps or refresh material. Your team does not have to rebuild the library alone.
Your team provides read access to Seismic and relevant source repositories, identifies its top priorities, and reviews and approves what goes live. Managers and sales champions test the workflows before wider rollout. To start scoping, bring your contract date, a current sales deck or playbook, your three most important day-one tasks, and an outline of where content lives. Identify an internal owner and a CRM administrator who can authorize the required connection. Spekit can then map the workload and timeline to your environment.
How do Seismic content and workflows map to Spekit?
Map each Seismic job to a Spekit capability, then plan the transition for material already in use. A file can remain a governed file; a repeated answer may work better as a Spek; an active buyer room can be recreated in Spekit with its seller.
| Seismic use | Spekit capability | Plan for existing work |
|---|---|---|

How does Spekit support the document creation work done in LiveDocs?
Spekit supports repeatable, personalized document creation through AI Content Builder, branded templates, and modular content. Teams can create proposals, executive summaries, decks, and other buyer-ready materials from approved GTM knowledge and live deal context. Reusable and nested Speks let teams maintain shared language once and update the places that use it, while templates and Brand Studio provide consistent structure and design.
That is a different way to create documents from Seismic LiveDocs, which can use placeholders, data connections, and business rules. For each LiveDoc that matters, map the source data, rules, final format, approval path, and expected volume to the proposed Spekit workflow. Have its business owner review real outputs before cutover. Some documents may be better rebuilt as templates using governed Speks and AI creation; rule-heavy cases need an explicit plan for any requirements the new workflow does not yet meet.
How does Spekit replace LiveSend and Digital Sales Room workflows?
Spekit Deal Rooms give reps a shareable, personalized buyer-facing space built from governed content. Reps can create and update rooms in their workflow, share one link with a buying group, and see which stakeholders engage with which assets and for how long. Engagement alerts and analytics help reps decide when to follow up. Those capabilities cover the buyer sharing and engagement jobs many teams use LiveSend and Seismic Digital Sales Rooms for, though the exact sharing workflow should be chosen during scoping.
For existing work, inventory LiveSend links still in use, identify active rooms, and retain the historical engagement reports your team needs. Spekit can prepare Deal Room templates and approved content before launch, then help reps recreate the buyer experiences needed for current opportunities. Test the new link and buyer view, decide who will send it, and account for the old URL before retiring the Seismic version. The capability exists in Spekit; existing links and room histories still need a planned handoff.
Can we migrate before our Seismic contract ends?
Yes. Starting while Seismic is still available gives the team time to build and test Spekit without interrupting active selling. Spekit says it works with customers at different points in their contracts to explore the timing and economics of a move; the arrangement depends on your terms and scope.
Before cutover, ask sales champions to find an approved answer, share an asset, complete required learning, generate a document if that is part of their role, and open a buyer room. Compare adoption and time to complete those tasks with the baseline from Seismic. Retire each old workflow only when its replacement works and its links, reports, and owners are accounted for.
To map your current setup to a realistic schedule, get the migration kit or scope a move with Spekit.
