The problem
A clunky system that worked against them
Adam Stewart leads the go-to-market innovation team at Introhive, spanning revenue operations, enablement, and customer consulting. His mission? Make it easier for teams to win.
But with Seismic as their CMS, the experience was anything but easy.
“From admins to users inside of Seismic, everyone was quite frustrated trying to find bits of content or collateral.”
Seismic’s complexity created friction across the board:
- Tagging overload: Searching for content meant layering multiple tags—persona, stage, region, industry, and more—just to surface something usable.
- Manual upkeep: Content would expire after 90 or 180 days unless specific rules were set. That made governance a nightmare.
- Scalability issues: As their teams and verticals grew, so did the tagging demands. The system buckled under its own weight.
“You almost had to have a very long list of legends of the rules that you created. It very quickly becomes unwieldy to create and then to maintain.”
Adam and his team needed more than a content library. They needed a system that delivered the right knowledge, at the right time, to the right people, without spending hours on manual tagging and maintenance.
