Open a Spek

Speks are bite-size pieces of knowledge or process guidance located inside the apps and tools you’re working in. Just look for the Spekit icon and click on it to view the help you need!

Search in the sidebar

Open the Spekit Chrome extension from your toolbar or click on the Spekit dock to search for any answer, from any window or app.

Browse Topics

A Topic is a folder that groups all of your Speks together, based on theme, process, or playbook. You can search for Topics in the dropdown or browse all Topics from the Spekit Wiki.

Customize & Personalize

Now that you're familiar with the basics, follow these tips to customize Spekit and make it your own.

Favorite any Spek

Click on the star icon on any Spek to add it to your favorites. To view your favorites, click on the “Favorites” tab in the right-hand sidebar, and you’ll see all the content you’ve favorited for quick access and reference.

Set your sidebar preferences

Change the size of the Spekit dock or move it to somewhere else on your page by simply clicking on it and moving it around or going to your settings at the bottom right or your extension.

Mark as read

Want to keep track of the Speks you’ve already read? Just scroll down the content of a Spek and hit the ‘Mark as Read’ button. In the top right of the Spek, you’ll see a little green check that says ‘Read.'
